Each year Central PA iDay presents a scholarship. For 2011, our Scholarship Award went to Kid's Chance.
Kids'Chance is a 501(c)(3) organization that was created for the purpose of creating, assisting and supporting Kids' Chance organizations throughout the United States and other similar programs that provide educational opportunities and scholarships for the children of workers seriously injured or killed on the job.
Central PA iDay Committee has comitted $2,500.00 to the Kids' Chance of Pennsylvania to help provide scholarship grants for college or vocational education to children of Pennsylvania workers who have been killed or seriously injured in work-related accidents resulting in financial need.
